Deputy Director, Alma Economics
I specialize in applying advanced analytics from data science and economics to real-world problems and have done so in the public policy, tech, and business sectors. I have led the design, implementation, and analysis of numerous RCTs/experiments, as well as large-scale surveys and impact evaluations in the field.
My research interests include public, labour, organisational, and development economics. I am especially interested in the design and application of complex experiments and causal-inference methods to real-world problems.
Before Alma Economics, I have worked as a Research Scientist at Meta, a Senior Data Scientist at Deliveroo, an Economist in the World Bank's Development Impact Evaluation Group (DIME), and an Economic Advisor in the Ministry of Education, Ethiopia, as part of the Overseas Development Institute Fellowship.
I hold a PhD in Economics from University College London.
