Development Impact Evaluation Unit
I am Post-Doctoral Fellow in the World Bank's Bureaucracy Lab, a joint initiative between the Development Impact Evaluation Unit (DIME) and the Global Governance Practice. I research the personnel economics of public-sector organisations and the implications of public-sector hiring policies for the wider labour market.
My primary research fields are labour economics, public economics, and development economics.
Prior to the Fellowship, I completed my PhD in Economics at University College London, and before that, I was an Overseas Development Institute Fellow at the Ministry of Education, Ethiopia.
Please see my research page and CV for further details.
