Research Scientist, Meta
I specialize in applied microeconomics, empirical impact evaluations, experimental design, and causal inference. My research interests include econometrics, labor, organizational, and development economics. I am especially interested in the design and application of complex experiments and causal-inference methods to real-world problems. I am also interested in understanding approaches to strengthening data-driven decision making in organisations, particularly within the public sector.
Before Meta, I was a Senior Data Scientist at Deliveroo, and before that an Economist in the World Bank's Development Impact Evaluation Group, and before that an Economic Advisor in the Ministry of Education, Ethiopia, as part of the Overseas Development Institute Fellowship.
I hold a PhD in Economics from University College London.
